PSE / Citizenship / Circle Time

The aim of citizenship is to promote social and moral responsibility, community involvement and political literacy.  We hope our whole-school approach to citizenship will enable all our pupils to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding to become informed, active and responsible members of the local, national and global communities.

Pupils in all years will spend time with their form teacher in Circle Time’. 

Circle time will be familiar to many pupils from their primary school.

Circle time offers a planned opportunity for pupils to speak and listen to others and aims to develop the skills of speaking and listening, while contributing to self-esteem.
