In Year 5 a small amount of homework is set including Spelling, Reading, English and Maths.  From Year 6 onwards children will have regular homework in all curriculum areas.  This amount of homework will steadily increase as they progress through the school.  All pupils have a homework diary so that details of homework set can be noted down.

If a pupil does not hand in homework their teacher will stamp their homework diary to help parents monitor their progress.

Please ask to see your child's homework notebook each day and sign it weekly to show that you know he/she has done the homework.
